Israeli police officer lightly wounded in stabbing attack in Jerusalem’s Old City

An Israeli police officer was lightly wounded in a stabbing attack in the vicinity of the Lions’ Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City on Friday. A suspect was shot and arrested.

The Israeli military was preparing for a day of violence in the West Bank on Friday after Palestinian groups called for a “day of rage” in solidarity with six fugitives who sparked a countrywide manhunt after they broke out of Prison earlier this week.
