The South Korean military said on Tuesday that North Korea has fired another unidentified projectile off its east coast into the Sea of Japan, the latest in a series of weapons tests by Pyongyang in recent weeks.
Details of the launch, such as how far the projectile flew or what was fired, were not immediately disclosed by South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Separately, the Japan Coast Guard has described the projectile as a possible ballistic missile, and advised vessels to avoid any fallen objects and be alert for further notices, according to local media.
