Tens of thousands of runners are expected to participate in the annual Tel Aviv Marathon Friday. The race, which did not take place last year due to the pandemic, will result in multiple road closures between 4 A.M. and 2 P.M.
The race begins at Rokach Boulevard West and ends nearby at Hayarkon Park. Along the way, runners will pass along Rothschild Boulevard, the Tel Aviv Port and city beaches, the Reading promenade Dizengoff Street, Rabin Square, Hayarkon Street, Ibn Gabirol Street, Old Jaffa and the Jaffa Port. In addition, other runners will use the same area in four shorter races. The police will close streets that are adjacent to these courses to all vehicular traffic.
Road closures:
North: Glilot Junction, Route 2040, Levi Eshkol and Shai Agnon Streets.
East: From Begin/Namir Road west on Bnei Ephraim Street, Rokach Boulevard and Pinkas, Arlosoroff, Kaplan and Harakevet Streets.
West: Hayarkon Street, Herbert Samuel Esplanade, Kaufman and Goldman Streets.
South: Jerusalem Boulevard from Ben Zvi Road, Elifelet Street from Kibbutz Galuyot, Kaufman/Hayarkon Streets from Eilat Street, Herzl Street from Jaffa Road and Allenby Street from Menachem Begin Road.

Namir Road will be closed from Glilot Junction to Shlomo Goren (Hahalakha) in both directions from 8-11 A.M.
The Ayalon Highway (Route 20) will be open throughout the race, but the Rokach on-ramp and exit will be closed from 4 A.M. to 2 P.M.
The Ayalon North Tel Aviv Convention Center (Merkaz Hayeridim) exit will be closed from 6-11 A.M.
On-ramps at Hashalom may also be closed.
