An Al Jazeera reporter was killed and another journalist was wounded Wednesday during an IDF raid in the West Bank city of Jenin. The Palestinian health ministry said one journalist was hit in the head by live fire while the other sustained a gun shot wound to the back.

IDF forces were operating in the Jenin refugee camp when the shooting took place. Journalist Ali Asmoadi told Haaretz that he and the other journalist, Al Jazeera reporter Shireen Abu Akleh, were wearing their press vests when military forces shot at them.
