Rocket sirens sound on Israel’s border with Lebanon

Rocket sirens were heard in several towns in Israel’s north, close to the border with Lebanon, the IDF has confirmed.

The IDF has responded to by launching artillery fire at Lebanese targets.

Residents of Kfat Giladi, Tel Hai and Kiryat Shmona reported hearing loud explosions.

The IDF says it is examining the incident.

Two weeks ago, two rockets were launched at Israel from Lebanon overnight, the Israeli army said, following an earlier Syrian state media report of an Israeli strike in the northern Aleppo region.
