Zeldin outpaces Cuomo in NY gubernatorial fundraising fight

Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin of New York announced on Friday that he’s brought in over $4 million in fundraising since he launched a 2022 campaign for governor of New York. He easily outpaced the roughly $2.5 million embattled three-term Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo raised during the first six months of the year.
