A Palestinian family was attacked by about 40 settlers on Friday while harvesting olives in the West Bank village of Yasuf, the Israeli rights group Yesh Din said.
The assailants hurled stones at the family and pepper-sprayed one of the women, who said the attackers also stole items including her ID card, Yesh Din said in a statement.

Hamudi said this was the first time the family had experienced such violence during the harvest.
Also on Friday, a 17-year-old settler was attacked by Palestinians in the South Hebron Hills and taken to the hospital in fair condition, according to the local regional council.
The council said the teenager was herding sheep near the settlement of Ma’on when eight Palestinians from the West Bank village of al-Tuwani attacked him with clubs and fled. The boy was taken to Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva and later released.
There have been 17 violent incidents involving settlers since the beginning of the harvest in October, Yesh Din said. In five of these cases, settlers cut or burned olive trees, and in seven cases Israelis harvested olive trees belonging to Palestinians. In the other cases, the harvest was disturbed or Palestinians were blocked from their land.
