A fire broke out Satuday at Z Center mall in the city of Qalansuwa in central Israel. Two people suffered from smoke inhalation and were treated on the scene. Another person who tried to assist the rescue teams was slightly injured.
Shoppers were evacuated from the building and firefighters on scene estimate the mall is now completely empty.

Fire and rescue teams originally struggled to reach the site of the fire due to the crowds in the area. The Fire Department said the building will be demolished to prevent a collapse and that there’s no risk of the fire spreading.
Flames originated in the second floor of the building which contained mostly offices.
