EXCLUSIVE: A Texas PAC that dumps millions into Democrat campaigns in the Lone Star state is under a Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation following a viral undercover video featuring a now-former employee, two sources familiar with the matter confirmed to Fox News Digital.
“We are paying people $25 to attend a one-hour Zoom class to learn why voting is important and why the Republicans are causing all these bad things,” Sky McAdams, a former organizing manager at the Texas Majority PAC told an undercover reporter in a video obtained by Townhall.
“So it’s like a roundabout way of paying people for their votes, essentially, which is interesting,” said McAdams. When the undercover reporter asked what the program was called, McAdams said it’s called the “Paid Relational Program.”
“I think ‘Rally Texas’ is the official name,” McAdams continued. “You can’t pay someone to vote for someone. You can’t be like, ‘Here’s $25, go vote for me.’ You can say, ‘attend a one-hour class and you can receive $25,’ and then the class just talks about, like, the importance of voting.”

“It’s a creative way to kind of… but right now we could use all the help we can get,” the reporter says in response.
“Yeah, you know, like, if I was a Republican, I’d be pissed. I’d be like, ‘that’s shady as f—,'” McAdams agreed of the supposed nefarious-ness of the action in his reply.
The video has racked up millions of views online, leading to the DOJ probe into the Texas Majority PAC.
The Texas Majority PAC was founded by “veterans of Texas campaigns” Jason Lee, Katherine Fischer and Crystal Zermeño. The group’s mission is to turn Texas permanently blue. According to Transparency USA, by the end of Q2, the PAC had raised nearly $10 million in the 2026 election cycle, and has spent nearly $9 million. It reportedly had more than $1.3 million in cash on hand.
A spokesperson for the PAC, Eddie Vale, told Fox News Digital that the video is real and has not been digitally altered or deceptively edited. He also clarified details about “relational organizing” program described by McAdams in the video.

“We hire Texans to join events where they are taught how to organize their friends and family.,” he said. “They encourage their friends and family to turn out and vote and send them regular reminders. They are compensated for their organizing work, just like any other job.”
“Texas Majority PAC runs a relational organizing program, which for years has been a standard part of every campaign’s playbook,” Vale said. “Participants in the program are being paid for grassroots organizing work. The way it was described by one rogue employee is factually incorrect, not how we operate, and they were immediately fired.”
“We will continue to ensure that everyone who has the legal right to vote is able to do so in the face of never-ending attempts from Texas Republicans to disenfranchise them and bad faith attacks from right-wing media to silence organizations that try to help them,” Vale continued.
Meanwhile, Texas Democrats are feverishly attempting to rally support for scandal-plagued Senate candidate James Talarico.
The left-wing candidate has recently walked back some of his more extreme positions, like support for biological men in women’s sports, his previous claims that “God is non-binary” and that there are six sexes.
Talarico is running against Republican state Attorney General Ken Paxton. Despite the fact that Texas is known as a traditionally red state, the outcome could be decided by a razor-thin margin.
Neither McAdams nor the Texas Majority PAC returned Fox News Digital’s comment requests related to the investigation.
